A Slideshow

Since I've been extremely slack over the last few months, I've collected HEAPS of photos to share so I turned them into a slideshow using http://www.slide.com/. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy!
Having some trouble loading the slideshow onto this blog - so you can go to the address below to view it!!

More work in the yards

Our neighbours were joking that they're going to start calling our place the Vic Markets. Here's our new vegie/garden beds and our "pool".
It's still a bit messy but well on its way!

More Birthday and a Hen Pen

Decorated for my birthday
Marisa never takes her eyes off the cake
Andy and Marisa - looking very similar.
Construction of the new hen pen begins, thanks to our (very talented) mate Ridgy.

I knocked down the old pen today and the chooks are extremely happy about their new and improved pen. The cats are still a bit dubious about how much of their yard has been hijacked.

Beach and Birthdays

I want the big bed!!!!
Cronulla

They look like naturals - you'd hardly know they're inlanders!!
Finally, we got to taste Papa's pizza - YUMMY!
Ooops, I think Luka ate a fish!
It was the black and white spotty one, see it's gone!
Here fishy, fishy, fishy
I think you're probably taller than that Uncle Tom.
Pretty!
Marisa's thinking - Can someone tell them to stop talking and start serving up this cake!!
We love Aunty Helen's matress.
Where am I?

It's been too long

I've been really slack. Here's a few pic's for you all to enjoy. We're going to Sydney on Monday. Bit of a road trip for the girls. Look forward to seeing some of you there.

Nan & Papa in Shepparton
Laura's birthday party.
After school on Laura's 'real' birthday. What a great smile for a recycled cupcake!! I love my daughter for not thinking I'm a total slacker.
Cold Rock ice-cream for dessert! Maybe I'd already told her about this before the cupcake photo - that may be why she didn't care I'd been so slack . . .
The ballet school uniform - very posh!
Cultural day at school - Laura went as a colonial Australian - I had to write this on a piece of paper for her because she could never remember what she was meant to be. Very cool though that Mum made this costume for me when I was in Primary School.
Cheeky - the chook with the infected sinus - this is her good side.
This is her bad side! Nothing a week of antibiotics and saline eye baths couldn't fix! Yes, I'm a mad chook woman.
Cool eggs - one from each chook.
My crazy menagerie. Missing only Laura and myself. Even Cyril and Stumpy got in.
Awww!
This photo was to show the damage on Andy's legs. He has a matching one on the other calf and very nearly ended up in hospital. He took his antibiotics wrong and ended up with a bad infection and very high temperatures. He's still sore now but getting better slowly. No more demolition saws for him!

All collected from our garden and arranged by Laura.

Blossoms on our tree.

A green egg!!!

How cool is that? We think the 3 red chickens are laying - Mo, Cheeky and Puff - we have a brown, a white and a GREEN egg! Laura watched with fascination as we cracked them, but the green one was exactly the same as the others on the inside.
Here's there new enclosure - the A-frame sits inside it - I built it with the assistance of my good friend Jacqui and I am very impressed with our efforts, particularly since it has survived nearly gale force winds and heavy rain.
Here's the girls. Milo (black one) is slowly catching up in size to the other and Puff (light coloured one) and Mo (in the back) let Laura pick them up. I'll try and get a photo and post it soon.
It's late (10.30pm) and I have to go to bed, I'm working in a primary school 2 days a week and I need to do this stuff late so I still get time to squeeze uni in. Also have Laura's first birthday party (with school friends) on Saturday, so tomorrow will be a big day of preparation. I've been told I'm not to go to the Party Shop without her. I don't think she trusts my taste . . . don't know why?
